The space I chose is the cafeteria area in the University Center on the 2nd floor. It’s where most New School students have
lunch and hang out in between classes. This space is designed for the purpose of student interaction and it allows
space for people to chill and hang out with so many seating options. It can get dirty sometimes considering that a lot of
people eat there and don’t always clean up after themselves but for the most part, it’s fairly clean. Depending on the time
of day, the noise level varies. During the break hours, it can get pretty loud but during awkward timings where no one
has a break, it can be quiet. Some people pass through to get to other classes or pick up food and leave while others
stay to finish work or chat with friends. It receives a lot of sunlight during the day and the windows are floor to ceiling
so you can get a lot of exposure to the outside world.

I love to go to this space when I want to get something quick to eat in between my classes and it always puts me in
a good mood to see the sunlight shining through the windows. The ceiling to floor windows definitely livens up the space
and it adds a nice touch to the overall essence of the space. I also love the high ceiling and how spacious the room is.
