05: Impressions

For this project we were to make a 25-page linear "instagram story"-like web experience based on our March break. During my March break, I went home to Canada skiing out west with my mom and dad. I created a multi-layer website that included both a small snapshot of a moment or detail in the centre, and a background video or photo that is more immersive and telling of my own experience and perception of the spaces and associated feelings. My goal with this project was to evoke my own feelings during these moments in the viewer.

I made a mobile-edit version of the project in which I curated my favorite pages from the original project and muted the video sound so that the video would autoplay on mobile devices. You can view that version here.
