07: Final JSON

For this project we had to take a variable from a weather API and use it to inform the content/experience of our final website. My concept was to take the phases of the moon and use them to illustrate how a woman's hormonal cycle naturally follows the cycle of the moon if her hormones were unobstructed by articficial light, environmental toxins, and hormonal birth control. For the design of this website, I drew inspiration from the dearly beloved 1968 Whole Earth Catalog. I used this catalog to inform the layout of my website, the illustrations/diagrams curated, the typefaces used, and the voice of the instructional guide. The content of the website changes based on what stage of the hormonal cycle a woman would be at if she were in sync with the moon cycle, and also includes information on how to sync your own cycle with the moon.
